Taylor 05' summer comes to end

Taylor Baseball finished the 2005 summer with another successful season. This years team set the all-time record for winning percentage (.894) posting a record of 59-7. Taylor started the summer by winning the Krusher Classic Memorial Day Tournament in the South Sound. They followed up by then winning the Bandit Bash in Kennewick. The 4th of July brought another Championship with a title in the SYMETRA tournament at Husky Ballpark. A highlight of the summer was Taylor becoming the first team to win the Brandy Pugh Memorial Classic 4 times in the tourney's 29 year history. Next, Taylor continued their tournament dominance with a Championship in Portland at the Curt Daniels Invitational. Taylor then played in their first Connie Mack State tournament and finished the local summer with a State Championship. Lastly, Taylor played to a 2nd place National finish in the USABF World Series.

Taylor Baseball would like to wish their outgoing seniors the best as they continue their baseball careers. The list includes: Ty Rasmussen going to Lousianna-Lafayette; Bret Bochsler and Sean Rockey going to Oregon State; Alex Burg going to Clemson; Jake Rife and Jason Erickson going to UW; Barrett Kanyer going to Azusa Pacific; Tyler Freeman and Brett Wilcox going to Bellevue CC; Brandon Eagon going to Everett CC
