Gonzaga bound Derek Callahan gets mobbed by his teammates after his walk off 3 Run HR in the Seattle Premier League semi finals vs En Fuego. Taylor then beat Baden 9-7 in the finals.
 
WSU commit Shea Donlin (Pictutred Right) Named Tournament MVP after a monster tournament offensively and defensively. Donlin came up big every game of the tournament with clutch hitting leading to Taylors SPL Invitational Tournament title.
Gonzaga bound Derek Callahan (Pictured Left) was named Pitcher of the Tournament. Callahan also got it done at the plate with his 3 Run Walk off HR in the semi finals vs En Fuego to get Taylor into the  Finals.

Taylor Baseball's RHP Bryan Bugher was selected in the 50th round by Minnesota Twins. Burgher (2-0) this summer is singed to play at the University of Washington next year.

2009 Taylor Baseball Alumni Kyle Conwell
was drafted by the  Los Angeles Dodgers in the 22nd round of the 2011 MLB draft. Conwell finished his 2011 campaign at Bellevue College earning All-NWAACC honors as an outfielder. He was also named all-tournament team as Bellevue won the 2011 NWAACC championship.
Taylor Baseball Wins Kent Memorial Day Tournament going undefeated with 6-0 record

Taylor goes (6-0) in the annual Kent Memorial Day Tournament to take home it's first tournament title of the summer. After going 3-0 in pool play, Taylor grinded out 3 games on Monday to take home the title.


Taylor started and finished the tournament red hot offensively led by Bryan Burgher and Austin Pernell. Burgher hit HR's in the first 3 games and was 3-3 in the championship game. Pernell made several game changing plays in CF and set the tone at the plate and on the base paths for  Taylor's offense throughout the tournament.

Taylor's pitching was also impressive highlighted by Bryan Burgher and Derek Callahan's performances in the quarter finals and semi finals to get Taylor to the championship game. Kevin sheets was stellar in relief for the tournament picking up the win vs Brewers in championship game.
