Taylor players high school post season awards

Another high school season is over and again many of Taylors players won post season awards. Lake Washingtons trio of players Eric Folkers, Alex Potts and Christian Kaiser each won 1st Team All Kingco 4A with Kaiser also being awarded Conference MVP. In the Kingco 3A Libertys Eric Peterson and John McLeod each were named 1st Team All Conference with Peterson being awarded the MVP. Robby Ryan from Juanita was also named to the 1st Team .Kyle Swannack was named to the Seamount 3A 1st team. Peterson was also named to the Seattle Times all Area team joining Mike Bush of Eastside Catholic who also was named to the 1st Team of the Metro Conference along with Ryan Wiggins of West Seattle . In the South Puget Sound League Kyle Conwell from Tahoma was named to the 1st Team in 4A and Alex Sloan was named to the 1st Team in 3A as well as the to the Tacoma News Tribune all area team with Brooks Roy from Franklin Pierce.Casey Bohlmann was named to the Narrows League 1st Team.Tyler Sullivan and Max Dickinson were each named to there respective conferences 1st Team at the 2A level. Steve Kirbach from Juanita was named to the Kingco 4A 2nd team and Sam Johnston from Inglemoor as well as Mac Acker from Redmond received honorable mention honors.

Congratulations to the Bellevue Community College Bulldogs and Taylor pitching coach Scott Fairbanks in winning the NWAACC Championship for the 2009 season.
