Taylor Baseball Announces Coaching Change

Taylor Baseball has announced Scott Fairbanks
will step down as head coach after accepting a
full time area scouting job with the Chicago
Cubs. Fairbanks will relocate to cover the
Northern California Region along with covering
most of the state of Nevada for the Cubs.
Fairbanks will leave the program after spending
the last three years with the program (two as
pitching coach and one as head coach).
"I
would like to thank Paul and Karen Taylor along
with Darrel Sakamoto for the incredible
opportunity to represent their program over 6
years of my life as a player and a coach. Not
only did they give me an opportunity
to have a successful career as a player back in
1996-1999, they allowed me to come back to
the program and grow as a coach and a man which
led to this great opportunity to work for the
Chicago Cubs."
Brad Ditter has been named
the new head coach and will step in as the 4th
head coach in Taylor Baseball's history as a
club. Brad has served as an assistant coach for
Taylor the last 6 years and has been
instrumental in the success of the program.
Coach Ditter also serves as the head coach for
Edmonds CC where he won the NWAACC title in
2008.
Tanner
Swanson and Sean Donlin will join Ditter to
round out the 2012 coaching staff.
