Taylor Baseball gearing up for 2008 summer
Season photos
With the high school seasons coming to a close, the weather is hopefully turning and its time for summer baseball. Taylor Baseball is preparing for another season with high expectations. It has been a cold spring that seems to be reflected with various injuries around the select baseball community. Taylor has not be exempt from the injury bug with season ending surgeries for Chris Seybold and Nick Olearain. We wish them both luck in their rehabs and look forward to seeing them out at the park. On the brighter side, the season starts on Memorial Day weekend with games in the south sound. Practices will begin with a workout at BCC on Sunday May 18th at 6pm. Another practice will take place at Edmonds CC on Tuesday May 20th also at 6pm.
This summer is once again filled with a number of tournaments beginning Memorial Day and ending with the USABF World Series in San Diego. The team will travel to Tri-Cities in the third weekend of June and head to Portland over the 4th of July. Local tournaments will be once again highlighted with the Brandy Pugh Memorial Classic held the second week of July. Remember most nights and weekends Taylor will be playing at Bellevue CC throughout the summer. Check the schedule and hope to see you there! |
